I don’t know, but the rules of the personal web page require it, so… here is Luís Cláudio Peazê DaSilva, in summary form so as not to take up too much of your time:

I was born in Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil in 1958, and attended the nun’s school Colégio São Paulo, from the kindergarten level through high school. As a child, I was a pretty good soccer player.

At the college level, I majored in Business Administration; I became a computer programmer at age 17, a systems analyst at 21 and eventually I started a small business to teach computer programming (Assembler, Cobol, Basic and RPG II) . Well, at age 30, I fell in love with Marketing & Advertising and instead of hiring a psychoanalyst to fix me up, I went deep as a very busy Ad man... But that’s enough about that.

It was 1985 when I was able to make the acquaintance of an editor at the publishing house of Editora Record, and presented him with the manuscript of my first book. A few days later, I felt acutely embarrassed at what I had written, more with respect to the form than the content, and I hurried back to the editor, pleading that he return the manuscript to me. In 1990 a sudden turn in my life found me in another country, where almost accidentally I established two companies, which in turn led to the crazy idea of setting up three plastic-manufacturing plants – one in California, another in Mexico and the third in Australia, all within four years. I mean, I’ve always been a hustler, in the most funny sense of the term. At that point, already married to Helga for fifteen years (today, 2009, we are celebrating 28 good years of marriage), I decided I would build myself a boat, whatever the cost. It was the dream narrated in "Alvídia – Yet Another Horizon", my very first book. Since then I have written dozen books from satire to chronicles, short stories and novel, scientific and tech as well as translating best sellers such as Fro Whom the Bell Tolls, from Ernest Hemingway; fora complete view of my books please go to Books>>>

My family. Super! I have a son, 21, who is named Lucas and lives in Tennessee, USA…. Married Helga in 1981. I believe that love is the only prescription for all of man’s ills, and that my life’s path is toward nature… the closer to nature, the better. The army? Wars? Frontiers? What good are they? I feel we should spend more time selecting and reading good literature… I like silence, I always answer the phone with a smile, and I’m less egoistical today than I used to be, even though I regard that as a dangerous trend... God? I was just speaking of him a moment ago. He is part of everything I do and think. I believe in miracles, yes, and in angels…and that faith can move mountains. I see forgiveness as the strongest of the currencies, and tenderness as a system of infallible exchange… The remedy for one who feels he is growing old: return to your dreams.

I would continue with this, but I have other projects in mind; books, articles, chronicles... My plans and dreams are piling up…

In any case, thank you for visiting my web site and for reading this.
